1981 an age of wonder.

How we grew closer was a true romance novel in itself.

Our happiest times together didn't involve money, well if you consider three dollars and a quarter money.

We would walk to town from our apartment holding hands or arms or each other and stroll along the streets window shopping or just go in and browse.  We shared a soda and a sweet while we did it.  We would spend more time smiling at each other and hugging than anything.  She would make me smile with those beautiful eyes and I would feel that warmth in her smile so deeply that it took my breath away at times.  We would make each other giggle or laugh always wanting the other to know how special they were.   We would do the same at the mall or take a trip to Cades Cove and spend the day walking through God's natural wonders sharing smiles and laughter.   Our love grew so easily.   It was an Age of Wonder.   It was heaven to both of us.   No matter where we were when we were alone only smiles came across our faces.

Teresa would tell our children, "We didn't need to buy anything, we already had everything.  We had each other and that was all we needed."

To hear her laugh made me feel as if I were special, that I had made an angel happy.

To see her smile made me warm inside like a fire in winter does for others.

To look into her eyes gave me pleasures that only we could share.

Love was found only with her and because of her, I came to understand how deeply love can grow.
