Beauty and her Beast

We were just starting out, hope was always our friend, kindness our manner, respect our motive and Love our shared virtue. How such a beautiful woman found me attractive I will never understand. She was a queen who deserved a Handsome King and not the court jester. I know I was blessed by God, or else she would never have married me.
